- Students will learn proper safety and sanitation procedures when it comes to braiding hair. Students will also have the opportunity to demonstrate their ability to create neat parts, maintain proper tension control, and utilize correct finger position, hand placement, and body posture. The class will cover both single braiding techniques and braiding to the scalp. A $50 deposit (non-refundable) is required for this class/ 3-hour class. FREE HAIR BRAIDING KIT. Students will learn safety and sanitation procedures. learn about different box braid hair techniques. students will be taught how to section hair into four ponytails. They will also learn how to pre-part hair for square parts, c parts, or triangle parts. Additionally, students will learn how to grip hair without applying too much tension, as well as how to feed hair to box braids and knotless braids. Finally, one of the important skills that will be taught is how to supply braiding hair to clients and how to prep it properly.
